Artist Profile

"Lake View" is the 5' fiberglass heart I painted for Engaging Loveland's project:

City with a HeArt in 2008. Columbine Health Systems sponsored and purchased this heart which is permanently displayed at the intersection of Taft and 29th streets in Loveland, Colorado.

Mary Giacomini is a professional artist whose love of color shines throughout her artwork. She works in oil, pastel, watercolor and some acrylic. Her work has won awards in national juried shows and she is represented by several galleries. Her work is collected nationally including corporate as well as commissioned work.

Mary graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of fine art degree. She continues to further her education by working with other artists, attending workshops, participating in a weekly figure and portrait painting group and teaching art to others. She is also on the steering committee of the Loveland Art Studio Tour.
